Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Anemone tomentosa

Herbaceous perennial with three lobed, dark green, toothed leaves. Bears pink flowers with yellow centres and deep pink backs from Summer into Autumn.

Height & Spread: 1.2 x 0.75m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, humus rich, moist but well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: N. China. 

Tidy dead stems and foliage once died down.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects.
