Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plant Sorting Pot

Geranium maculatum – ‘Espresso’

Mounding, herbaceous perennial. Deeply cut chocolate-bronze leaves. Contrasting purplish-pink flowers are carried on upright stems from late Spring into Summer.

Height & Spread: 0.75 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: Horticultural Cultivar. 

Dead-head to encourage repeat flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Bees.
