Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Upright, rhizomatous, herbaceous perennial. Stems carry narrow lanceolate leaves topped by incredible deep purple tubular flowers in late Spring.

Height & Spread:0.5 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H4: -10 to -5ºC.

Soil: Non-ericaceous, well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: NE Albania.

Tidy after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Bees.
