Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Deciduous bulbous perennial. Strap shaped leaves. Spherical heads of pale pink-purple flowers in Summer.

Height & Spread: 2 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H6: -20 to -15ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: UK Native.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Cut back flowering spikes once spent. Harvest tops for the kitchen in Autumn & Winter. Avoid excessive wet in winter.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects. Edible.
