Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plant Sorting Pot

Campanula latifolia v. macrantha

Clump forming herbaceous perennial. Upright stems carry lanceolate foliage and large violet-blue, bell shaped flowers in Summer.

Height & Spread: 0.75 x 0.3m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: Europe to Kashmir. 

Dead-head to encourage repeat flowering or leave to self sow. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Bees.
