Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Lysimachia – ‘Candela’

Compact, clumping, herbaceous perennial. Broadly lance shaped dark green leaves. Red stems carry racemes of white saucer shaped flowers from late Spring to Autumn. Stem colour intensifies in Autumn.

Height & Spread: 0.5 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H6: -20 to -15ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: Horticultural Cultivar.

Tidy after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects. Related to UK native. Probable food plant for around 50 UK invertebrates.
