Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Malva moschata – Musk Mallow

Upright, herbaceous, perennial British wildflower. Heart shaped lower leaves and lobed upper ones. Saucer shaped pink flowers from Summer into Autumn.

Height & Spread: 1 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H5: -15 to -10ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: UK Native.

Tidy after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects. Food plant for around 7 UK invertebrates.
