Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Spreading rhizomatous herbaceous perennial. Narrow leaves. Fragrant peachy-orange flowers in Summer. Unknown cultivar from a village garden in Kirkhaugh, South Tyne!

Height & Spread: 0.7 x 0.7m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H6: -20 to -15ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to poorly-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: Europe to W. Asia.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Dead-head after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in Spring.
