Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Allium cernuum – Nodding Onion

Clump forming hardy bulb. Strap shaped leaves. Erect stems, nodding at the tip bear an umbel of bluish-pink flowers in summer.

Height & Spread: 0.3 x 0.1m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H6: -20 to -15ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: N. America. 

Tidy dead stems and foliage once died down.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects.
