Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plant Sorting Pot

Chamaenerion angustifolium- ‘Album’

Spreading, rhizomatous, herbaceous perennial. Upright stems produce dense spikes of white flowers from mid Summer.

Height & Spread: 1.5 x 1.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: N. Hemisphere.Dead-head to encourage repeat flowering or leave to self sow. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring. 

Attractive to Pollenators. Food plant for around 75 UK invertebrates including Hawkmoths.

Not as vigourous as the Native “Rosebay”
