Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plant Sorting Pot

Digitalis viridiflora – Green Foxglove

Clumping, herbaceous perennial. Lanceolate, green basal leaves. Downy stems bear greenish-yellow flowers with dark veins in early to mid Summer.

Height & Spread: 1 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: Balkans. 

Dead-head after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Bees.
