Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Francoa sonchifolia – Wedding Flower

Clumping, semi-evergreen perennial. Sinuately lobed basal leaves. Unbranched racemes of 4-petalled, dark veined, pink flowers on erect stems in Summer.

Height & Spread: 0.6 x 0.3m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H4: -10 to -5ºC.

Soil: Any, humus rich, moist but well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: Chilie. 

Dead-head after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Pollenators.
