Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Geranium phaeum – ‘Lily Lovell’

Short Description

Upright, herbaceous perennial. Deeply divided basal leaves. Erect stems bear dusky purple flowers with white eyes from late Spring into Summer. Raised by Mr Trevor Bath, Woking, Surrey, named after his mother.

Height & Spread: 1 x 0.7m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, well-drained soil.

Light: Full-shade to Full-sun.

Native Range: Horticultural Cultivar.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Remove flowering stems to encourage a second flush. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in Spring.

Attractive to Bees.
