Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plant Sorting Pot

Geranium phaeum – ‘Our Pat’

Upright & free-standing, herbaceous perennial. Deeply divided yellow-green basal leaves. Erect stems, with brown spots, bear very dark purple flowers with a silvery white eye from late Spring in to Summer. Named by Dr Marie Addyman for her sister in who’s garden it was found, introduced by Susie White.

Height & Spread: 1 x 0.7m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, well-drained soil.

Light: Full-shade to Full-sun.

Native Range: Horticultural Cultivar. 

Remove flowering stems to encourage a second flush. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Bees.
