Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plant Sorting Pot

Geum – ‘Mr Mojo’

Clump forming, rhizomatous, herbaceous perennial. Mid green-greyish, scalloped, basal leaves. Upright dark stems bear orange flowers with deep red streaks and yellow stamens from late Spring into Summer. This plant is registered as under Plant Heritage guardianship.

Height & Spread: 0.3 x 0.3m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: Horticultural Cultivar.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Dead-head to prolong flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in Spring.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects. Related to UK native. This cultivar is registered under Plant Heritage guardianship.
