Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plantago major – ‘Rubrifolia’

Rosette forming perennial, Large ribbed leaves with a purple-bronze colour. Colour improves in Sun and in Autumn. Un-showy flower spikes in Summer.

Height & Spread: 0.3 x 0.3m in 2-5 years.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.
