Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Plant Sorting Pot

Silene fimbriata – Fringe-flowered Campion

Clumping herbaceous perennial. Forms a mound of shiny lanceolate leaves. Branched stems with opposite leaves bear the delicately fringed white flowers from May to June. Inflated calyxes persist after the flowers.

Height & Spread: 1 x 1m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness:  H5: -15 to -10ºC.

Soil:  Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light:  Part-shade to Full-Sun.

Native Range: Causcaus. 

Dead-head after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in spring.

Attractive to Pollenators.
