Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Clumping, compact, evergreen perennial grass. Stiff dark green leaves. Arching panicles of green & silvery-ight bronze spikelets in Summer mature to golden.

Height & Spread: 1 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H6: -20 to -15ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: Cultivar of UK Native. 

Tidy dead stems and foliage before growth resumes in Spring.
