Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Euphorbia cyparissias – Cypress Spurge

Rhizomatous, herbaceous perennial. Vigourous. Narrow blue-green leaves. Bears greenish-yellow flowers in late Spring to early Summer, often becoming orange with age.

Height & Spread: 0.5 x 1.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: Europe.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in Spring.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects. Food plant for around 20 UK invertebrates.
