Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Eurybia divaricata – White Wood Aster

Upright, bushy, herbaceous perennial. Cordate basal leaves. Erect black stems carry flat topped clusters of small white flowers with yellow to pink centers in late Summer in to Autumn.

Height & Spread: 1 x 1m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: N. America.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Dead-head after flowering. Cut down spent flowering stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in Spring.

Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects.
