Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Ligusticum scoticum – Scots Lovage

Herbaceous perennial. Glossy green leaves , divided into three toothed leaflets. Domed umbels of greenish-white flowers, on tall reddish stems in Summer, followed by yellow seedheads.

Height & Spread: 1 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun.

Native Range: N. Europe to NE USA.
