Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Symphytum – ‘Hidcote Pink’

Clumping herbaceous perennial. Rough, ovate, mid-green leaves. Clusters of pink & white flowers in Spring.

Height & Spread: 0.5 x 0.5m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained soil.

Light: Full-sun to Part-shade.

Native Range: Horticultural Cultivar.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Dead-head after flowering. Cut down spent stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in Spring.

Related to a UK native. Very popular with early flying Bumble and solitary bees.
