Our Plants

We grow hard to find and unusual hardy perennials with the needs of wildlife and the planet in mind.

All plants are grown from scratch on site, are peat and pesticide free and use organic methods.

Telekia speciosa – Yellow Ox eye

Clump forming, upright, herbaceous perennial. Oval to cordate , aromatic foliage. Branching sprays of shaggy yellow flowers from late Summer into Autumn.

Height & Spread: 2 x 1m in 2-5 years.

Hardiness: H7: < -20ºC.

Soil: Any, moist but well-drained to poorly-drained soil.

Light: Part-shade.

Native Range: C. Europe.

CARE & BENEFIT 

Dead-head after flowering. Cut down spent stems and damaged leaves as the new emerge in Spring.

Architectural. Attractive to Pollenators & beneficial insects.
